We usually cruise Boston to Bermuda every year in the summer. The price of the 3rd and 4th person for this summer (inside room) is almost the same as passengers 1 & 2 I don't think I have ever payed over $399.00 for the 3rd. What's with that..

Supply and demand.

Summer is a high volume cruise time and Bermuda is a popular route.

The cruise line would rather have 2 adults in 2 cabins= casino and bar revenue from 4 adults. Rather than a family of 4 in 1 cabin= casino and bar revenue from only 2 people.

In my case it is 3 over 21. I got a cert. at a casino for 2 free I want to bring my daughter who is 21 and likes to gamble but they want $1000.00 (Price, taxes, Port fee)Since this is a extra cruise for us not planned if i could get her on for under 500.. that would be worth it. I will wait and watch the prices and hopefully get something more reasonable.

Usually the price for each of the 3rd, 4th, 5th etc pax is the same for entire sailing. It is so high during the peak times - Xmas, New Year, Spring breaks - but drops to low during off-peak. It is NOT dependent on the cabin category, like the price for 1st and 2nd pax.
