tarheelmjfan Posted April 30, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 30, 2005 Has anyone taken this excursion? What was it like? We have booked this tour, along with the Native Tlinglit Dancers & Tribal Story through Celebrity. Now I'm wondering if we should do something else. Are these tours repetitive? We definitely want to see the Native Dancers, but are considering cancelling the other, possibly in favor of the whale watching excursion. Any reviews and/or explanations of this tour would be greatly appreciated. TIA :)
wolfie11 Posted April 30, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 30, 2005 Whale watching doesn't get much better than in Icy Strait. I would recommend planning accordingly.
Chookenshaa Posted May 3, 2005 #3 Share Posted May 3, 2005 the dancers and show are wonderful, the sightseeing tour takes you into the village. There probably won't be any dancers for you to view in the village, most of the ones that dance will be at ISP. Appproximately 95% of the employees at ISP are from Hoonah or are related to us by marriage or blood ties. So you definitely won't have to worry about seeing the same thing.
