js1357 Posted April 30, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 30, 2012 One of the things we like to do instead of going to the show in the evenings is a movie. We did a TA on the Constellation last fall and spent quite a bit of time in the Cinema/Conference center. I've noticed that the redone "M" class ships have added oceanview cabins in part of the cinema area. Does that mean they are no longer showing movies in this room in the evening? I do not believe you will have the opportunity to see movies (other than in your cabin) anymore. The Cinema is "history". The Connie still has one, but that too will be gone next April when she gets the additional staterooms. :(
trabeler Posted May 1, 2012 #3 Share Posted May 1, 2012 On the Summit post-refurb out of San Juan, there was a "family movie night" that they held in the conference room, using the large projection screen. Unfortunately the seats were just plain chairs, so less comfortable for sitting through a movie. There were no other scheduled movies. We used to enjoy seeing a movie occassionally onboard and are sad to see the theater gone...
