6rugrats Posted May 2, 2012 #4 Share Posted May 2, 2012 OP - If you are a US citizen, as I already posted on your other thread, you are just not going to be able to be married in Russia on a cruise stop. It is not easy; it's quite difficult. The entire process can take at least two months, and you must wait 32 days from the day you file you paperwork at the Civil Registry Office. The bureaucracy in Russia is incredible, that's why you see so many horror stories. Suggest you get legally married in the US first, and then plan a symbolic ceremony wherever you like.
