Texas Holdem Dealers

Before I book my cruise on the Norwegian Star i just wanted to make sure that they still have Texas Holdem with live dealers. This is one of the main reasons we choose NCL for our cruising experience.

Anyone?

Were on the Pearl this coming May and that was one of the questions I asked NCL....

They told me that YES ALL of their ships still have Live Dealers and Chips...

No Poker-Pro Tables......You can Call NCL's Casino At Seas Dept and Ask them Directly about the Cruise your on....

The Number is 877-742-9521......Best time to call is first thing in the morning.....

GOOD LUCK AND WIN ALOT...

I heard the rake on NCL is insane though, see link:

At that price it sure makes it hard to win a ton of money.

Yup I was the one who posted about the NCL Rake....It is High but I still managed to Win a Decent Amount of money....

Of Course it Helped that We had some Novice Players playing that would Call with even a Low Pair No Matter What the Bet was, LOL....:D .

Also played the Tournament and when the Final Table got to 4 of us left We Split the Money...Each got over $500+.....

They had Rebuys and Add Ons which was Different than most Princess Cruise Tournaments I've Played....There they have No Add Ons or Rebuys.....

how did they structure the tournament on princess, only one I have seen is on Royal Caribbean and it is very quick, pretty much you need to get your chips in early and get lucky

Princess mostly has 1 Full Table during the Tournament...Started with 1,500 Chips...Only First and Second Place Get Paid......A Few Times they had enough people and actually did 2 back to back Tournaments...

Some People played Different in all the Tournaments I've Played.....Some just go all in with Marginal Hands and Try and Get Lucky....

I Tend to Play Tight/Aggresive depending on my hand and who I'm Up against....

It also Helps that when playing Live Cash Games most of the same people are playing in the Tournaments so you can get a Quick Read/Tells on some of the people.....

GOOD LUCK ON YOUR NEXT CRUISE....

All the ships probably do it the same. On Norwegian if you limp a few time and don't catch a flop you are practically out of chips. If you get any kind of hand shoving early isn't a bad stratagy.

Exactly why I don't like cruise tournys, prefer live cash games anyday.
