Ok....I just found her post and saw $139 and $149 for Embasy.....I can email them as well as Hilton. :D

Hi Randy,

that would be great if you could get a better rate for Embassy ... full breakfast and evening cocktails make $139-149 a great - but cheaper is always better. Good luck! if not we can move forward with the exisiting block. thanks for checking

I have never cruised in Jan so this will be my tester. I'm just happy being on the ship though. :)

 

50% of our cruises have been in February. We have always had fun and found things to do! It shouldnt be that much different from January! Shouldnt have many young school aged children on it, but since my baby is gonna be 21 and hitting the casino, that is not a concern!;)

I will not be on here for about a week and Ingrid is on a cruise now, but I just wanted to say that the embassy suites had a suite, meaning hubby and I had the bedroom and the two boys had the ability to sleep in the living room area. NOrmally I may not care so much, but having Myles have a 20 year old friend with him, I think I would prefer the suite if comparable in price.

So far got just an email from Hilton Riverside for $139...which is sweet....a few blocks to port...close to everything...has a store with beer and wine inside lobby as well as. Starbucks...yep this all beats a free breakfast to me that embassy offers:)...how does The Hilton sound?

Ok..Group Hotel will be Hilton Riverside for $139 for King or Doubles......I just accepted because Embassy never got back to me and frankly Hilton is rated #42 on Trip Advisor and Embassy is #89.....Plus I know that Hilton and have stayed there....talked to a friend earlier that had stayed at both recently and told me to definitely go with Hilton .said it out weighs the free breakfast and manager's reception at Embassy so that was all the endorsement I needed.....PLUS Starbucks in the lobby....lol :D:p:D

 

I'll let everyone know how to book when it gets in the system..may be first of next week...HOWEVER.....I just found out they will charge your card when you book :(...BUT.that will be one less thing to worry about and it is fully refunded if canceled 72 hrs before arrival. :)......So who is good with this? :)

Hello All,

 

I haven't been on in quite awhile but this weekend I going to go back and read and catch up.

 

I am paying a big chunk of the cruise off this month, plus booking another cabin for my other daughter Kelsey and her boyfriend to join us.

 

Now I am getting excited and looking forward to the reviews this summer of the Sunshine!

I just found out that Carnival offers standup paddle boarding in Nassau!!! :D I think we will do it there instead of Key West. Id rather bar hop in Key West :p

 

I would probably fall off the board and bleed and you would laugh at me. :rolleyes:
