i know in cabo in june ship time is 1 hr behind cabo time. is ship time the same as purta vallarta time or an hour behind? thanks for your help.

Can't give you an answer without knowing what ship you are on.

This used to be an easy answer until they dropped Mazatlan and started dinking around with various itineraries.

Your ship sails at Pacific time, Cabo is Mountain time (-1 hour) and Puerto Vallarta is Central time (-2 hrs). Some ships, but not all, adjust ship's time match Cabo time and be one hour behind local time in Vallarta.

Enjoy!

The most current discussions about ship's time vs. local time for Splendor are about 60 days old. They indicate that ship's time is one hour behind port local time for both Cabo and Vallarta.

As an example, Splendor is schedued to be in Vallarta 9 AM to 9 PM ship's time, 10 AM - 10 PM Vallarta local time. We typically see Splendor arrive in Vallarta about 30 minutes early most weeks.

Enjoy!

We spend enough time in Vallarta that the board rules do not let us recommend any given tour/excursion. You do the research and ask questions about one company or the other and we can answer those questions. (ie: compare/contrast and report on our experiences.)

Johann & Sandra, tour brokers listed on this site, has a pretty complete list of excursions (zipline operators) operating in the Vallarta area.

I just got off the Splendor today. Ship time was 1 hour behind local time in both ports. You set you clocks ahead on the Wednesday, and back again Friday night.
