marne-c Posted May 5, 2012 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2012 My wife and I will be on a Montreal-to-Boston cruise in the last week of May. What kind of weather can we expect? Is this area like the Alaska Inside Passage, where we need to be prepared for light rain all day, every day? (Although in our four Alaskan cruises, we never had rain on any day.) --Marne
maryann ns Posted May 5, 2012 #2 Share Posted May 5, 2012 You would be very unlucky to have rain every day. The weather will vary from day to day. It could be warm enough for shorts or it could be cool enough for pants, sweater and wind proof jacket. We had temperatures well into the the 80s in March and we have had frost in May. If you are on the Atlantic Coast and Bay of Fundy you can have morning fog. So the short answer is to be prepared for everything. Rare kazu Posted May 5, 2012 #3 Share Posted May 5, 2012 The end of May is nice weather traditionally - it can be cool in the morning and evening - but normally in the afternoons it's nice weather (not blazing hot though). Pack layers and you will be covered for anything. Last May was cool - the year before gorgeous - so you just never know! Have a great cruise:D
