Pre cruise paperwork

Recommended Posts

We shall be departing for our Century Alaska cruise more than a week before sail date.

Do Celebrity send us any kind of pre-cruise pack with tickets, baggage tags, information etc.? If so, I shall have to chase my TA.

Also, can anyone advise whether my man needs a suit for the Smart Casual evenings or will a jacket do?

Hi,

First, the smart casual evenings do not require either a suit or jacket. Just a collared sport shirt (like a golf shirt) is fine. But we see most everything on these evenings.

You should complete registration on the Celebrity website several weeks (or even months) ahead of the cruise. After final payment is made by you, the web site allows you to complete registration. In that process, you can request baggage tags which will be delivered to the address you provide. We have received them as much as 30 days prior to sailing so the fact you are leaving a week ahead of the cruise should present no problem.

After you have completed the on-line registration, you will be given the opportunity to download and print the boarding documents that you should bring with you to the ship. Again, those can be printed many weeks ahead of time. They are called e-docs.

Hope this helps.

As said before, once final payment is made, shortly thereafter you can complete the online registration. It is important to print it and take it with you. If you have this printed, the process at the check in counter to get onboard will be much quicker. Baggage tags can be ordered soon after final payment too.

Casual dinner does not even require a jacket.

Once you get to print boarding pass do it. This is all you will need to board. Did you book Air and hotel through Celebrity? If so you will need the pages from your booklet for that and transfers to and from hotel/airport.
