Fishing in Sitka

Will be in Sitka mid June. Anyone have any experience with any of the local charters? Feedback would be appreciated. Is there any dock or shore fishing available in mid June? Thanks!

Last time we went to Alaska, I went Salmon fishing in Sitka.

It was AWESOME!!! I posted a few of our pictures from that

trip (one with the salmon). Take a look.

The excursion I went on was booked through RCCL.

We're going to Alaska again this year (next month on NCL) and

planning on salmon fishing in Ketchikan. I just hope I can

get another one!

Any specific charters?

I don't know of any specific charters. I do remember that the dock situation is quite different compared to Juneau and Ketchikan. All ships must tender

passengers in. When I was assigned to a boat that morning, they had to drive

me and the three other guys to another dock a few miles away.

 

 

Maybe I just got lucky - we had a great boat and a great skipper.
