I don't have a long reveiw to write as our "plans" changed for our cruise on what we were going to do which was just hit the beaches and relax. We did relax and not do much of anything, but didn't hit the beaches as was planned.

I do have all the fun times that I will post once i'm home from work tomorrow i will start working on them as well as the daily "specials" for the spa.

First thing i'll start off with that people still were NOT aware of is that you MUST go through the USDA line before you check in to your airline. We were at the airport early and as people were coming in and we'd get talking and I let them know. and it's true what I've read, those dang stickers do NOT like sticking to your bag, so keep an eye on it. the one i moved and stuck at the top of my bag stayed put verses on the side.

2nd thing, if you are a smoker, get your bags first before you leave the airport. We did ask as we usually go outside to smoke before our luggage gets off the plane. Worker told us you'll have to have your boarding pass to get back through, apparently you'll have to go back through security to baggage claim.

oohhh.. and just in case, i'm going to say this, fill out your declaration forms!!. we did self assist and we were waiting to get off the ship and the 2 ppl behind me did not have theirs done, good thing the lady at immigration had extras. I said to them that they were in your room with your papers and she said something about too many ppl or something in room, etc. so save yourself some time and fill them out lol.

Next, I did not have issues with any workers on the ship, I know some ppl do, but all were pleasant and always greeted us when we passed. Daewa (spelling) was our steward and took very good care of us and definately got his extra tips from us at the end of the cruise. Our waiters, did their job, nothing out of the ordinary. But hey, as long as we get served in a timely manner, no complaints.

I don't have pics of the menu's or food, I havent done that yet on my cruises but the food was decent, some better than others. Most times I very cold in the dining room. Especially the night my back was burnt from falling asleep on the one beach i did get to lol. my own fault of course.

Some ppl think soda card drinkers get bad service from some posts i've read, but at least at the casino bar I didn't see that problem and they got it in a full large glass. lido does not use glasses so that is why probably ppl say their small glasses which is what my jack n cokes were served in there. I did see that on the lido they have new travel mugs they were selling, i asked one woman to see if that is what ppl used for their sodas and i believe so with even the soda card.

OHHHH, and as of this cruise, dod's and drink specials CUPS ARE STILL USED. if carnival is doing away with them, as of right now, not on the Victory at least and many other's i've read.

will work on this more later, but first day back at work and it's my double, so as I think of things and/or wednesday when i get home from work i will start working on this more. :)

BBM, not sure that I know what you mean here, could you explain please since we are booked for the Victory in Jan?

cruingnut.. in San Juan before you can check into your airlines you must go through the USDA check point. you put your bags through their security belt and they put a yellow sticker on your bag.

they don't stick well, so need to watch that. then you can go to our airlines to check in.

not sure if all airlines, but jet blue and United (we used) you can check your luggage in 4 hours before your flight. that was great since we had a long wait. lol.
