I just got through looking at your highway guide from Skagway to Whitehorse. Your pictures are great. What camera do you use?

 

How long does the drive take from Skagway to Emerald lake?

Thanks, basser. Sorry for the delay replying - I just got home from 5 days away.

 

I use a Nikon Coolpix 4500 - no longer made, but a great little 4.0 mp camera.

 

For the round-trip drive from Skagway to Emerald Lake and back you should allow about 5 hours - it can be done Grand Prix style in under 3 hours.

I figured you hadn't seen the post, you are always so prompt and nice to answer each and every question. One more. My wife and I have passports, but our grandkids only have birth certificates at this time. Do they need picture id's to cross the border?
