Island Village Recently??

Has anyone been to Island Village recently? Is there much there except M-VILLE? "They" say it's not far from the ship -- how far is "not far"??? Is there any shopping right at the pier?

I was there in February. It had really changed from the last time I was there. There really aren't many shops left there. It's basically right at the pier. Exit it out of the pier and keep walking-it is on your right. If you walk past it, just ahead at the first intersection is another shopping center. If you continue past that there are also other small shops. There is security along this whole route so we felt safe. If you want a $2 red stripe-visit the first bar outside of the pier (I believe it is actually part of the shopping center). Fun atmosphere, good food and CHEAP beer.
