cpgrneyes Posted May 9, 2012 #1 Share Posted May 9, 2012 On our January Quest cruise, we embark on Thursday, but the ship doesn't sail until 10:00 pm Friday. We're considering flying from BA to Iguazu Wednesday morning and returning Thursday afternoon. The flight is scheduled to arrive about 4:00 pm. In my research, it looks like those flights are notoriously later and/or cancelled. Am I correct in assuming that wouldn't be a big problem since the ship doesn't sail until 10:00 pm Friday? I wouldn't fly in to catch any ship the day of sailing!
Rare uktog Posted May 9, 2012 #2 Share Posted May 9, 2012 You are correct, people often arrive on Day 2 when the first is an overnight so that gives you a contingency. You just have to do the Falls, they were the high spot of our South American adventure this New Year where we were very lucky our flights up and back were not cancelled. Keep an eye on your flights once you book them, they are really monkeys for changing the flight times often bringing them forward without warning
