SadieN Posted May 11, 2012 #2 Share Posted May 11, 2012 Layers are the way to go. Europeans seem to dress for the season and not the temperature.
binkysmom Posted May 11, 2012 #3 Share Posted May 11, 2012 layers! It could be cold in the mornings and sunny afternoons. Or rain some days and warm others. Think t-shirt/blouse with a light cardigan and a light jacket. As the day warms up you could shed layers. I also like to take scarves to dress up outfits and to keep the wind off my neck. I wear a lot of jeans here and in europe. Usually dark wash. You'll see a lot of jeans in europe. I also took black pants and tan chinos. comfy shoes! I saw a lot of Chuck Taylors when I was there in April. I wore black leather shoes and brought leather sandals (only got to wear them once). love this blog for packing ideas! http://theviviennefiles.blogspot.ca/2012/03/packing-my-usual-paris-in-grey-and.html http://theviviennefiles.blogspot.ca/2012/03/packing-for-claudia-and-russian.html http://www.maitaispicturebook.com/search/label/City%20travel%20wardrobe
