An odd MDR menu question

Does anyone have a copy of an old(er) menu from the MDR? I mean one from before the "Didja Ever?" and "Comfort Food" days? I just want to compare the 2!! I've been looking everywhere and can't find a copy of the old(er) menu!!

Thanks so much!!!! :D

I am sure there are more out there

When I first sailed Carnival in ? 2003 I think or maybe 2002

they had a Sommielier with a chain and cup who handled the wine at dinner

it still was nothing like the ships I went on the 80's however

They were smaller ships, party ships BUT they had very very elaborate

menus, very "Continental"...I tried some foods there for first time

on the old Emerald Seas

They had things like Beef Wellington, Duck a la Orange, Caesar salad tossed at table, flambe Bananas foster...real flames LOL

and some odd stuff...I remember a shrimp in cream sauce dish,

steaks smothered in Bearnaise, creamed peas and other french side dishes,

hollandaise sauce, very heavy foods

and NO buffet for dinner...dining room only

but a big midnight buffet every night....and one gala buffet

come to think of it, when I first went on Carnival they had a big Midnight buffet and people stood in line to take pictures, not just the chocolate one or the Mexican one...a big one

I don't know when they stopped them..but it really was too much food IMHO
