Razl Posted May 14, 2012 #1 Share Posted May 14, 2012 There is not much available in the way of pictures of HC Cabins on any ship so I am providing some here. When we are cruising DH likes to use a scooter so he can get around the ship better. It helps to have an HC cabin so you are not tripping over the scooter or each other. ;) We had 6103 on the Summit last month and it was great. DH loved the location since we were just 2 cabins from the elevators. Here are the pictures of it. If you have any questions, let me know, and I will try to answer them. http://travel.webshots.com/album/582791878qknGat
jgnova Posted May 15, 2012 #2 Share Posted May 15, 2012 Thanks for sharing the photos. Looks like a good bit of space to allow for the scooter or wheelchair. S
Razl Posted May 15, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted May 15, 2012 Thanks for sharing the photos. Looks like a good bit of space to allow for the scooter or wheelchair. S The bath is what DH loves the most. It is hard for him to stand long in a shower and sitting in a tub impossible, so these are great for him. I like it because there is plenty of room to park the scooter for the night and I don't trip on if I need to get up. Highly recommended....... MargoK Posted May 15, 2012 #4 Share Posted May 15, 2012 Thank you for sharing the photos. I am impressed with the bathroom layout - would suit me perfectly as I like to stand for a short time if possible, and the grab rails are numerous and well located.:)
Razl Posted May 16, 2012 Author #5 Share Posted May 16, 2012 Thank you for sharing the photos. I am impressed with the bathroom layout - would suit me perfectly as I like to stand for a short time if possible, and the grab rails are numerous and well located.:) I'm not sure if you noticed but there is also a seat in the shower so you can stand to rinse off but can sit for the washing. Very convenient with plenty of area to move around in so you are not bumping into the sides.
