Thallasotherapy pool on Summit

Anyone over age 16 can use it. I loved it. I did see them ask a few teens to leave.

We were on Summit in July 2010 with lots of kids on the cruise. There was a security person at the T-pool with a list. If he saw anyone that even looked under 16, he asked them what stateroom they were in, referred to is list, and asked them very politely to leave. I was impressed.

Millenium in 2000, and Infinity in 2001, this giant T-Pool was the most unique and awesome thing on the high Seas. It still is. :) But yes, not for kids. It is designed to help us older folks relax. I can sit on those underwater metal chairs for hours!!!

Have read alot about how people love this pool. Can anyone use this pool or is it only for elite members?

Thanks,

Karen

I just want to say my DH and I loved it as well! We love the sides where you can lie down and relax. I wish I'm no a Celebrity ship right now.

is there a "spa pass" on the Summit?

Yes there is, it's actually a pass to the Persian Garden. At my last cruise in April 2012 on the Summit, the pass for the whole 7-day trip was $99, $179 for a couple, $20 for day pass. You can see the flyer at http://www.ayleebits.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/SummitMisc20120414-02.pdf (last page). You can also see photos of it that I took from our trip at http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1614608&page=2

With the exception of the Persian Gardens no special pass is needed for the spa area. Areas open to all guests at no extra charge include the indoor pool (T Pool on M class), the gym, and the locker rooms which include a sauna (separate men's and ladies). There are small charges for some exercise classes such as spinning or palates and of course there are charges for personal services such as massages and hair cuts.

I'm sorry, Larry is right. I have to clarify that there is no fee to access the spa area itself, you only have to pay if you want to access the Persian Garden. If you are in an Aqua Class cabin, the Persian Garden pass is included.
