Favorite Caribbean destination

What is your favorite Caribbean destination. There is a poll similar to this on the princess cruises board but I thought it would be interesting to ask here as well. I was not able to include all destinations in the poll as for a poll you are only allowed a max of 10 options.

Out of those listed I chose St Thomas

 

We enjoyed swimming and feeding the fish in the little bay next to the Aquarium and of course the shopping!

 

My real favourite place is Virgin Gorda, off Tortola.

Barbados comes in close behind. We spend our Honeymoon here and have also visited on a cruise (our next cruise sails from here too)

 

However, my opinion may change after our next cruise as we'll be visiting some new islands.

I voted for Grenada, a beautiful island with friendly people

So far my favourite has been Antigua, but I've only been to Barbados and Aruba.

VIRGIN GORDA - a great place to visit, especially if you go by catamaran from Tortola (via Patouche!). My next favorite place is Coral World/Coki Beach in St. Thomas.

The Baths! Spectacular!

Out of the list, St Thomas is my favorite, but that is because we had a GREAT tour guide. He knew all about the history and told us many things about the plants and such. I live on Isla de Margarita, so I can't vote for that. I work at the port, and I can tell you that it's the best outdoors shopping out of all the ports. I really liked The Baths at Virgin Gorda, but my absolute favorite stop was Belize.

Though it's not considered part of the Caribbean - I vote for BERMUDA.

Of the ones to choose from I picked St. Martin. I have been there twice, the first time I went to the French side. The beaches were beautiful. they were rough. We went to Orient beach. The second time I stayed on the Duch side and the snorkeling was awesome.

I have just finished a western Caribbean cruise and really enjoyed Roatan.

I've been to 7 of these 10 -- my favorite is ST. LUCIA!! Love those Pitons!!

Aruba - perfect weather, so much to do and so much fun. On the flip side, I vote Turks and Caicos for the nothing to do vacation.

1- St. John, 2- Barbados, 3- St. Lucia, 4- Dominica, 5- St Thomas, 6- Aruba, 7- Grand Cayman, 8- Martinique, 9- St. Croix (in the old days), 10 - St. Martin (for shopping). The #1 I dislike is Jamaica and close behind is Dominican Republic.
