Carnival excursions

I will be going to Nassau in November and will be traveling alone. I want to see Atlantis but am not interested in the beach or aquapark. I want to see the Aquarium, site see a little, casino(maybe) shops and eat lunch. The excursion for just "Discover Atlantis" isn't until 11:30 and that doesn't sound like long enough. The longer tours include the beach and/or aquadventure.

My question is if I take the one with the beach which includes Discover Atlantis do I HAVE to go to the beach? Can I take the Discover tour and wander around on my own afterwards? Traveling alone I prefer the ship's tour. I'm an older lady and walk a little slow.

No you don't have to go to the beach with that excursion. Since you are only interested in the aquarium you can buy a ticket for it at Atlantis - no need to buy it from the ship. There isn't a whole lot that you will be able to sight see besides the aquarium and casino. I think the only shops available are in the harbor area which is away from the main area. Lunch will be expensive at the restaurants (the waterpark has cheaper food options).

Do search of Atlantis and also the Dig or Atlantis Aquarium for further info.
