USGS Topo Maps on Sale

I hope that this is not considered advertising. I certainly I not associated with USGS, but I just picked up aboout a dozen maps really cheap for preparation our cruise to Alaska (but I suppose that it could be used for any purpose).

 

USGS is having a sale on some of their maps, for all 50 states, all of them for $1. Most of them are either 7 1/2 minute or 15 minute maps, but they do have some 1:100K maps as well. I have no idea if they are simply purging their stock and will switch to POD mapping, or if this is some sort of a regular event. In any case, buying maps that normally cost $9 per sheet for a dollar seems a good deal to me.
