Hi,

Does anybody have contact with Olga or know how she is?

Nothing sinister, I would just like to wish her well, and the best of health.

Those on the recent RTW on the QM2 will know the background.

David.

Olga passed away in January. She was diagnosed with cancer last year and underwent chemo. She became private after that and we did not hear from her after the summer, so we assume that the situation deteriorated. We knew her as a real lady in every respect and an amazing water color teacher. And she was such fun, too. She became such a good friend and she will be sorely missed. We wereon the QE recently and looked at our video of the Panama Canal cruise on the QE in 2010 with Olga.

Yes, she was still teaching on the QM in April last year. She became ill and was taken off the ship in Spain and flown to Madrid for an operation. Her daughter came to take her home to Chicago for further surgery and the diagnosis.

With sympathy: might this be her obituary?
