14 people going to Atlantis?

We are a family group of 14. We are on the Allure of the Seas in June. The kids want to go to Atlantis, even though we have to be back on the ship by 2:30.

 

How long does it take to get to Atlantis from the ship? We were thinking of leaving the ship 9:30 AM and then leaving Atlantis by 1:00. We will just see the aquarium and dig. Does this seem doable? I have read there is alot of traffic going back to the ship, so I hope leaving at 1:00 will be okay.

 

I don't think it is worth it but my kids really want to go and my husband can get discount tickets.

 

Also how will we travel there? Do you think we can get some sort of mini bus at the pier or will we have to take two vans or several cabs?

Since you are just going to the aquarium and not the waterpark you will be fine. You will also be fine with your time coming back. Traffic gets bad late afternoon. I answered your taxi question in your other post.
