I can assume the Windjammer will be open for Lunch on boarding day, but what other places are open to eat lunch the day we board. Thanks.

The Park Cafe is a boarding day secret, but reports are, the secrets out. Get on board early! Getting food in the windjammer isn't hard, finding a table to eat at is.

You will have no problem finding a seat or finding wonderful food at the Solarium Bistro. While everyone else is parking at the Park Cafe or jamming the Windjammer, you can eat lunch in the lovely atmosphere of the Bistro. You won't regret it.

I agree with Bill! Park Cafe is fab!! Sitting in Central Park while eating was also an awesome thing!!

i didnt know giovannis was open on embarkation day ,but puff is right about the lasagna ....very delicious:)

 

the park cafe has many many choices of food...panini's ,roast beef sammies , salads ,fruits ,beverages . you may find this to be a favorite throughout the week;)

Yes, Giovanni's is open for lunch on embarkation day and was not crowded on January 28 when we ate there for lunch at 1 PM. Made a reservation, but didn't appear you would have really needed one.

 

Agree on the lasagna, very good indeed.

 

One way to avoid the crowds and have a good meal.
