Riviera Concierge Veranda question

For concierge veranda and above passengers on Riviera, I understand that there is priority embarkation (and maybe disembarkation, too?). Does this mean that those passengers get priority in getting on and off the ship at each port, or do they just get let on early the first day of the cruise?

Its priority on initial boarding only. You also can get into your room sooner.

 

It makes no difference on all ports.
