A Question for Those That Know....

I understand your dilemma. Belize has so much to offer how can you possibly do the "Best"? I decided early on I needed two days at the least in order to do the land excursions AND the reef snorkelling. However we didn't get two days....We decided on the ruins. (DH's knee replacement surgery cancelled out the cave tubing). I am not sorry. We went snorkeling in Cozumel and Grand Cayman, but nowhere else was there Mayan ruins in the jungle.

However, I think about Belize that you can't go wrong. Really. Snorkelling/diving is great. Cave tubing is great. Jungle river trips are great. Ruins--any of them-- are great. The zip line in the jungle is probably great. Just plan something, and you will have a great time. I loved Belize and want to go back.

Well, we decided to do the snorkeling/shark/sting-ray excursion with Coral Breeze. BobbieSu, I think you're right, we really couldn't go wrong with whichever one we chose. I'll be sure to let y'all know how it was!!

Thanks for the suggestions!!!!!!!!:D

We used http://www.belizerays.com last week when we there last week on the Explorer. (april 24-may1). They were great!!! Reasonable and wonderful trip. We went to the barrier reef and then to a private island. Check them out they were very easy to get in touch with and responded to my many ????s

They have a beautiful catamaran. The staff was great right in the water with you.

Hola,

If you never plan on going back to Belize you need to think seriously about the cave tubing. I don't know if there is another place where you can do it? On our first cruise to Belize we had to return to Calica, due to bad weater. I had to book the same cruise the next year so that I could go cave tubing. Glad that I did, but if I go back again I will have to see the Blue Hole and do some snorkeling. That reef is something else.

Have a great trip and eat a shrimp for me.
