Royal City of Klang

Hello!

I missed your post in the other thread, haven't dropped by the forum a while!

Klang's own Little India is nice for a bit of shopping and general sightseeing. Locals like the place because theres a temple, a mosque and a church all in one place near the same area. Within walking distance is Klang Komuter Station (not to be confused with Port Klang Komuter station) and the Royal Gallery about 200 metres from there.

The palace itself is off-limits to visitors although you can take pictures outside. Involves climbing a hill, that.

Jusco Bukit Tinggi is just your average shopping mall in Malaysia, albeit a decent sized one. If you're planning a day in Klang I wouldn't recommend it- unless you just want to shop and laze around in air-conditioned halls (we Malaysians can relate to that!).

What you can do though is take the Komuter to Shah Alam, and from there take a trip to the Blue Mosque- as beautiful as it was when it was built in the 80s.
