Excursion too long?

I see NCL Sea excursion for Shark Ray Alley is seven and one half hours. Considering the ship is only in port for nine hours, will there be time to walk around and shop afterwards? We have never booked excursions outside what the ships offer, but don't want to be tied up doing only one thing in port.

If you book thru the Sea, after you snokel at shark ray alley they take you for a wonderful Belizian lunch. After you eat I think we had 2 1/2 hours to shop before we got on the speed boat to go back to the ship.
