Looking to book on HA Ryndam. Any help on which HC cabins are the best would be appreciated. Thanks.

HAl Ryndam has both Fully Accessible Handicap Cabins and Modified Handicap Accessible cabins. To make certain you are selecting the typs that bst suits your needs suggest you check out the HAL's website for the definitions. http://www.hollandamerica.com/cruise-vacation-planning/PlanningAndAdvice.action?tabName=Shipboard+Life&contentMenu=Accessible+Cruising&contentSubMenu=Holland+America+Line:+Committed+to+Serving+Everyone#

Our favorite cabins on either the Ryndam or the Statendam (sister ships) are on the lowest deck forward (A deck). They are G704 and G709. We were able to easily accommodate 3 of us (two in the beds, one in a roll-away) two wheelchairs, a lift, and shower/commode chair plus all our personal belongings in these cabins, for lengthy cruises (South America/Cape Horn, round trip San Diego to Hawaii, etc.). They have port holes (no balcony) and are just above water line, but were fine for our needs. They are fully accessible.
