joan72761 Posted May 27, 2012 #1 Share Posted May 27, 2012 Does the kids carnival program offer anything special for the kids on the formal night? In general the kids (grandkids) will be with us for dining but on the one real dress up night, it would be good for the parents to have some alone time. Thanks for any info, it is always appreciated.:)
Quilting_Cruiser Posted May 27, 2012 #2 Share Posted May 27, 2012 I'm not sure if they still do it, but when DD was little she ate with Camp Carnival almost every night, including formal night. I would have preferred she eat with us, but she had so much fun eating with the other kids. :D
Monalis Posted May 27, 2012 #3 Share Posted May 27, 2012 Don't know if they do anything special, but camp carnival is open every evening, and the kids can eat dinner there or with you any night, not just on the "elegant" night.
tea4ular Posted May 27, 2012 #4 Share Posted May 27, 2012 They used to. But my D when she was as young as 8 (she's 24 now) used to LOVE to dress up and sit with the grown ups all dressed up. After dinner she would change to casual clothes and join the camp activities. Not sure how any younger than that would fare. If you want alone time, then just plan on taking your child to camp for that evening.
