When can I expect documents?

Haven't cruised Carnival in a while but am giving the Liberty a try on July 20th. I made my final payment yesterday (May 3rd) - we're booked as cruise only but the couple we're traveling with booked air from Carnival. Will we get our docs first? If so, when will they show up. I remember going on Carnival a few years ago and it seems like I got them very early...maybe a month or two in advance. Is that possible?

I have gotten docs anywhere from 6 weeks in advance, to having to do pier pickup.

If I had to wait to get them at the pier, I'd be a basket case! :eek:

 

The "average" though is about 3 weeks prior to the cruise.

I had the same question - - posters kept saying how early they got there documents - - I was getting a little edgy, I didn't get ours until 8 or 9 DAYS before our trip! Which is now even closer :)
