Hi,

Booking our first cruise on carnival spirit and have a choice of 2 cabins. Cabin 5130 (directly above Pharaoh's palace main lounge) or

Cabin 8151 (directly under pool deck).

Which do you think would be better?

thanks

I'm going to be in 8172 for the Repositioning to Sydney.

When do you cruise? I think that the extended balcony on Deck 8 would be better but thats just my opinion

Both cabins accommodate four passengers. are you sailing with children? If you are I would recommend deck five. Your cabin is over the circular stairwell just outside the lounge so noise should not be an issue when you will be sleeping. This cabin is also conveniently located to the kids clubs and arcade forward.

I could be off base with the kids, just guessing.

If you deal with noise outside of the cabin my guess would be the 8th deck room would be a bigger issue. My pick, deck 5. If you go to shows you can easily go down when deck and into the upper level of the auditorium and won't have to worry about elevators afterward since go up one flight of steps and you are back.
