I have a beach question?

We are thinking about renting a golf cart from Nathan's and drive around the island to see the scenry and hopefully find a beautiful beach to stop at for a day. Does anyone know of a beautiful beach that would also have lounge chairs, umbrellas, drinks and food? If you do, how much would a day of rental cost for the chairs and umbrella? Also, would it be safe to leave the golf cart unattended while we laid on the beach?

Thank you!:)

Bohio Resort...just 5 minutes walk north of town (2 minutes vai cart). They have a good beach, but you need to be there early as they do cater to their overnight guests first and can run out of loungers. Bring a towel. Also, snorkeling is available and better than by the cruise port. You can pull over to one of th ebeaches on the east side coming back from the lighthouse, but they're not really kept up unless they are part of a resort.

Nathan is a good source toask about local spots too. His wife, not so much.

Does the Bohio Resort charge for lounge chairs and umbrellas? What about the safety of leaving a golf cart unattended?

Thank you.

Loungers are $10 IIRC.

Your cart is safe. You're in a parking lot and you take the key.

here's a website: http://www.bohioresort.com/index.html

The reason why I wonder about the safety of the golf cart is when we rented one in Isla Mujeres, Mexico the keys are all the same and the carts are hard to distinguish and our cart got stolen.

Thanks for your response.
