Boatyard to Mt Gay Rum tour?

I am looking to go check out the Mt Gay rum tour after leaving Boatyard and before returning to the ship. What is the best way to get there? Also, what would be the best way to get back to the ship from the rum tour? Any timeframes would be helpful to for planning purposes. Thanks!!

We first walked around downtown and then went on the Mt. Gay rum tour. We took a taxi to Mt. Gay, and I didn't see any other way of getting there and back to the cruise terminal. We are usually walkers, but while taking the taxi there we were glad we didn't walk. It didn't look like it would be a nice walk (a more industrial area) and it would be a little far to walk. The taxi shouldn't be more that 6USD each way, and takes about 5 minutes.

We didn't know what time the tours started, and one had already begun when we got there, but we were able to jump on it (instead of waiting an hour for the next one). The tour itself was less than an hour, and then we got a drink at their bar.

We walked to lobster alive (next to boatyard) and then took one of the taxis sitting outside to mount gay, and a cab back. The walk to boatyard is nice, but I would take a cab to mount gay! Not sure of time frame or cab fare (those run punches are strong...)

We started the day by taking a cab to Mount Gay. The driver provided us with his cell number so we called when finished and he took us to a beach. We then arranged for him to pick us up at a set time to go back to the ship.
