Quick - about to book September cruise. If I stay on the Empres

If I stay on the Empress deck, where is the quietest spot. That Atlantic deck (right above Empress)has a lot of action & I would still like to get sleep if there is a quiet area. I prefer the front of the ship, but that is under the theater, but the shows are over around 11:00, right? So it should be quiet after that??

Or mid ship is fine, that would be under the atrium which seems like it could be noisy all night. OR does the sound even travel to the rooms???

Thanks much!!

When I was on the Fascination last month we were in porthole cabin E3. We never had an issue with noise above us and the hall was always quiet since it's at the front of the ship away from traffic. The only noise was when we arrived into ports. I thought of it as my wake up call to get the day started. (:

you want NOTHING under that galley.

being under a dining room is good- its carpeted so no noise issues

(do not book the aft there)

the main show lounge will be loud until almost midnight.

This is on the Fantasy class ships only

  • 3 weeks later...

a cabin number will help

the shows play until aound midnight- you will hear the thump thump of the base if your cabin is under the show lounge.

under the stage area?? dancers practice after midnight
