Back Bid for hotels

Has anyone used this site? It is an interesting idea.... BackBid ..... my brother posted a hotel he booked on Back bid & ended up in a much nicer hotel in NYC. A few different hotels offered him a similar package with a better price.

I may try it for our next pre-cruise hotel. :)

Just thought I'd post the info. If you have used the website, please post your experience.
