Hotel Recommendations in New Orleans

We'll be sailing out of New Orleans for the first time next summer and are looking for a good hotel. For the past nine years, we've stayed at and loved the Radisson Resort at the Port in Port Canaveral and would love something similar, for anyone familiar with it. We definitely need something that offers an affordable cruise package with a shuttle to the pier and secure parking. Included breakfast would be nice but is not a necessity. Any hotels you all just love?
