I was on a Royal Caribbean cruise in January. Did the their 1/2 day bottom fishing excursion. Sure your carrier will have something like it available. It was fun and we caught fish. Lots of wind so the boat was rolling quite a bit.

 

I looked into deep sea fishing, and it is a lot of hassle with a long boat ride to get to where you MIGHT catch some fish. From what I found out, deep sea fishing works best with a land vacation where you can give it a long day, not just a few hours while in port.

 

This worked for me since I didn't want to be just fishing the whole time in Cozumel.

 

Maybe others have other suggestions.
