Half Moon Cay

Hi all--we are taking my new H.S. graduate niece on a cruise in December. We are just doing the Fri-Mon out of Miami on the Imagination. Does anyone know why, in the last couple of months, the stop at Half Moon Cay was taken out of the itinerary? I could swear it was Nassau and HMC and now it is Nassau and a day at sea. Maybe I'm mistaken, and I'm sure it will still be a ton of fun, just curious. I want to teach my nieces to snorkel and the private island stop is always a good spot. I will have to look at Nassau and see what is available.

I don't think the 3 day Imagination itinerary has ever had Half Moon Cay. The ship stays overnight Saturday in Nassau, leaves Sunday morning, and that's your sea day.

The water will be too cold in December to enjoy anyways. I went to HMC and Nassau last December and very few people braved the frigid water. And I agree with Kim. The 3 day Imagination has never included HMC - at least in the past year or 2 that I have been considering going on Imagination.

HMC will be hit or miss in Feb. We usually go to S Caribbean for our winter cruises.
