karajeboo Posted June 11, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2012 How "intense" is the river tubing? My FIL had neck surgery several years ago and so technically can't do anything that may jerk him around..... is this pretty mild?
Loonbeam Posted June 12, 2012 #2 Share Posted June 12, 2012 I supposed it would depend on the water that day, but the one Trevor Hoffman arranged for us was very mild. One spot of fairly bouncy rapids, that was about it.
Almost Packed Posted July 8, 2012 #3 Share Posted July 8, 2012 yes, i suppose it would be dependaent on how much rain, which river etc. but the White River is the name of the river...not white water. don't be confused as some have been. we have done the river tubing and it is just a float. nothing extreme at all, and dh has had back surgery. most river floats have you connected together as a group as well....which would minimize any straying away and extreme bouncing. it should be an pleasant, scenic experience. now white water rafting, i have done and it was fabulous. but completely different than river floats.
