Harry and Lucille Posted August 11, 2012 #26 Share Posted August 11, 2012 I would put $50 on each. Red and Black. Walk out ahead of approx. 97.2946 percent of the players in there the first nite. :D

joe6666 Posted August 24, 2012 #30 Share Posted August 24, 2012 At the roulette table..i would get 20 - $5 chips: and bet the following. 1 chip on each number - 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 2 chips on 17 and 24 1 chip on each of the following corners 13, 14, 16, 17 14, 15, 17, 18 16, 17, 19, 20 17, 18, 20, 21 19, 20, 22, 23 20, 21, 23, 24 Here is the payout for landing on 13-24 13, 15, 22 - $214 14, 16, 18, 19, 21, 23 - $255 20 - $335 24 - $390 17 - $510 you'll have a third of the wheel covered and you will either more than double your money and possible over 5x your money...of course if it hits 0,00, 1-12, 25-36...you loose...but its a better payout than betting black or red. Of course you could do the same thing with the 1-12 or 25-36 groups of numbers Just my 100 bucks worth!!! Seems to me that you are betting against yourself when you cover a third of the wheel, or any large group of numbers. They all can't come up. A simple example would be if you played black and 17. You might hit black and you might hit 17 and you might hit both But if you play red and 17 you could hit either 17 or you could hit red, but you could not hit both. So why set up a bunch of chips that couldn't all hit?
