Scubagirl, which would you recommend the Sheraton or British Colonial Hilton? How do you reserve them?

Thank you so much!

It depends on what you are looking for and how much time you have.

The Hilton is nearby and located in the harbour. It's a very small, relaxed, quiet beach and pool. It's more for those that just want to chill out, nap in the hammocks and revive a bit. It's not good for those who have active kids or need activities for the day.

Hilton pass is $55 and can be purchased at the front desk.. or thru Island Marketing for $50 (check their cancellation policy).

Hilton pass includes a $30 voucher for food and drinks at the Patio Bar.

this is a lay back property, and service is hit of miss.. as is most service in the bahamas.

Sheraton is a resort hotel with lots to do. Snorkeling, water toys, ping pong etc.. you can even rent jet ski's if you dare.

There's a bar and grill, 3 pools, lots of "fun in the sun".

Day passes are $25pp and include snorkeling gear(30 minutes pp) and towel service, but no food or drink.

There's a ton of great information on this board regarding both properties. Do a search.

If you are going in winter.. you might want too look into the weather in nassau. I can be downright chilly at times, water temps around 70.
