RVRCLC Posted June 18, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 18, 2012 I'm thinking of getting a Canon Powershot sx260 for a small camera when I do not want to carry my Nikon DSLR. Can anyone share their experience with this model? Would it be a good camera to use during a European tour? (I am NOT interested in information about any other camera brand or model!) Skyarrow01 Posted June 21, 2012 #3 Share Posted June 21, 2012 I have one and got it just a month ago, but have taken it on a trip and loved it. Like all small compact cameras, it does have issues with low light and getting a true shallow depth of field. But the 20x zoom is great for such a small camera. Leaving the GPS feature on does use the battery, in fact I would get a second one just have as a backup. I highly recommend it! Let me know if you have any specific questions. I cannot post images at full res here, but I sure there are plenty online.
