kcbmarek Posted June 19, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 19, 2012 DH and I are doing an Eastern Med Cruise in early September and are classifying this as the "honeymoon we never got" per say. When we married 5 years ago on June 30th, we were not aware how sick I was and the whole time we were in Alaska I was miserable. Not to mention, we married and merged 2 families to have 3 immediate teenagers. All our kids are now out of the house and we have waiting a long time for this trip. I was looking on RCCL's website and the "romance packages" they have and wanted to know if they were in actuality worth it. Our itinerary is very port intensive and lots of walking, but I want to make this a trip for us to remember ... that honeymoon we never really had. Any ideas or suggestions are more than welcome. TIA!
Herbaltees Posted June 20, 2012 #2 Share Posted June 20, 2012 I, too looked at the romance pkg when researching cruise lines. I think it's a great value, if you like massages etc. With it being so port intensive, I'd make sure to schedule services on the sea days.
