Estuary fishing in Cairns? Yip yah!!

So the tribe has voted. Seems like 3 of the 4 of us want to go for a 1/2 day fishing trip in Cairns. Kids to young for deep sea fishing. Has anyone ever been estuary fishing there? Got any advice or recommendations of a tour company. Incidentally I am the 1 out of 4 who is not keen. Maybe I should find a day spa just for me!!

Depends on which gets hooked first. We once "landed" a pelican in my father's tinnie when it tried to gobble up the flathead on my mothers line. Fortunately the only one who pannicked was the pelican.

Now croc hunting sounds much more fun to me!! Hopefully we'll spot a friendly one or two. Not sure about the pelican though. Always loved Mr Percival - would hate to hurt him!
