What type of sweaters?

I will on an Alaskian cruise in July and wonder if my black cashmere sweater set will too warm? Should I stay with cotton sets for evening etc?

It will be cool in the evening outside. The ship will be comfortable.

The black cashmere sweater set will be fine in the evening. It does get cool if you should go out on deck.

Noticed your location was in Canada. Did Alaska last year July and very Warm. Ketichikan was in the 80 degree mark. Cruising the Glaciers very cool much like a Canadian November. But if your tempeture goes up in port quite humid and can be very warm. A spring wieght jacket was plenty for my self on the open waters and I don't like the cold.

 

 

Suprised at how mild the tempetures were, much like Vancouver etc.
