HMC Beach vs. Lagoon

Can anyone tell me the difference between the Hobie Cat rentals for the Beach versus the Lagoon? The price is the same, but I am wondering if they limit you to the Lagoon area if you rent the Hobie Cat there.

I don't believe they offer Hobie Cat rentals for the lagoon part of the island. That's where the Aquatrax and Stingray excursions are. Any sailing or kayaking is done on the beach side of the island to my knowledge however I don't do either so maybe there is someone else out there who knows for sure. :)
