Wayneair Posted June 25, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 25, 2012 Other than the decorations, will I see any other noticable differences on a Christmas sailing. For example, does anything change for the entertainment, will the poolside steel drums play Holiday music, do they show any specific movies (It's a Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th St.), do they offer christmas sugar cookies, or does someone dress up as Santa? Just curiosity and I am still going absent any of these. I will just be thankful for not slaving in a kitchen all day for a meal that takes 15 minutes to eat. Rare cruisestitch Posted June 25, 2012 #2 Share Posted June 25, 2012 Depending on the specific cruise director and hotel director you may find all of those things as well as caroling, church services, token gifts from the cruise line, and some stateroom door decorations

What a wonderful idea if X would run those movies! Maybe if we brought them with us (we are on the Eclipse Christmas cruise) they would play them. Probably not, but it is a nice thought. You mentioned 2 of my favorite (assuming 34th Street is the original ;)).
