Best way to get from Canada Place/Vancouver to Seattle (downtown, not airport)

We disembark in Vancouver and are renting a car in Seattle (impossible to find affordable one way rental in Vancouver)

What's the best way to get to seattle? We dock at 7:30 am and should be off the ship by 10:30 or so - we pick up the car downtown (airport prices in seattle also more expensive)

Thanks!

One suggestion that many people do is to take Amtrack. There is an evening train from Vancouver to Seattle, getting you to Seattle about 10 PM. This will allow you the opportunity to spene some time in Vancouver before heading to Seattle. You can store your luggage for the day at Canada place until it is time to head to the train station.

Good point - Forgot to mention we've spent lots of time in "van-groovie", victoria, san juan islands, seattle, etc - (DH is canadian) We are meeting some friends in Seattle anytime from 1 pm to 5 PM'ish (new information)

Thank you!!!! I can get student fares on greyhound and amtrak and it is very affordable so hard to choose - or quick shuttle is an option too -

Thanks!

Quick shuttle is $33 pp adult, leaving Canada Place at 10:30 and arriving at the Best Western Exec Inn downtown Seattle at 2:30. I think there is also a shuttle leaving around 9AM, too, but didn't take note since we wanted the later one.

another option to save a few $ is to take amtrak to bellingham or everett (same fare to both - about half that to seattle) and hire a car there fropm a company which doesnt charge a drop off fee for seattle
