Are the costs of fees & taxes considered to determine cost of celebrity cruise care insurance?

 

Example: if the cruise cost is $2400/pp and the fees & taxes are $200/pp is the cost of insurance $159 or $189?

I believe it's based on the cruise fare only because taxes and fees are reimbursed if you cancel.

FYI ~ If you book onboard they will include the taxes and fees in your cruise care quote because their program is set up that way. However, when you get the invoice the cost is correct and based only on the cruise fare. We have fought this for years. ~ Ric
